Our growing company has an opening for a Chemical Milling Technician I. The preferred candidate should have experience working in a manufacturing or manufacturing-related position. This position performs chemical milling operations in support of production. This position may involve exposure to hazardous chemicals and requires the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment, which is supplied by the company. This is a full-time position, on daylight shift operations at our Donora facility.

• Etches specified portions of metal parts and materials using immersion equipment, templates, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Reads and signs off on all requirements of the Job Control Form (JCN) and process specifications to determine etch rate, finished dimensions, and method and sequence of operations.
• Cleans surface of parts and materials to remove contaminants.
• Immerses parts in and out of tanks and measures specified removal using precision measuring instruments.
• May require the operation of overhead cranes and other lifting equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains full compliance with Company policies and procedures and conducts all activities in accordance with the Company Code of Conduct.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or a general education diploma (GED).
• Heavy lifting of parts 30 lbs+ and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to read & use a non-metric measuring tape.
• Ability to count & perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division).
• Ability to read & use precision measuring equipment, including calipers, thickness gauges, and micrometers.
• Previous experience operating cranes, a forklift and/or pallet jack is a plus.
• Position requires various schedules when necessary, including weekend hours and/or evening.
