What You Can Expect To Be Doing- This position is hands‑on and requires a self‑starter mindset.
- Set up equipment for production to meet the production schedule and fulfill customer orders.
- Operate large equipment such as shredders and grinders for the majority of the shift.
- Manually load and unload product into and out of equipment.
- Remain on your feet, monitoring, adjusting, and attentively aware of the equipment you are operating.
- Use forklifts to transfer material within the production floor (not a forklift‑only position).
- Execute all safety protocols—safety is critical to success.
- Self‑starters willing to learn.
- A strong work ethic—dependable with good attendance.
- Ability to work a 12‑hour shift (7 pm–7 am OR 7 am–7 pm). Our work schedule rotates every 2 weeks: 36 h one week & 48 h the next, including every other weekend.
- Physical qualifications:
- Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Lift, throw, bend, squat, twist, and reach.
- Work in both hot and cold conditions.
- Minimum 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship required).
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Basic computer knowledge is a plus.
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
- Mechanically inclined with attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
- Starting rate up to $20.50 per hour (incl. overtime & shift differential).
- Performance reviews every 6 months.
- 12‑hour shifts with 7 days off in a 2‑week period.
