Assembly Operator II – 3rd Shift – Sun to Thu 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
TE Connectivity is looking for an Assembly Operator II to support the safe operation and repair of high‑speed automated assembly machines.
Job OverviewSupports the safe operation and repair of assigned high‑speed large‑scale automated assembly machines.
Shift DetailsThis position works the 3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:00 am). The shift premium is 10 %.
ITAR/EARThis position requires access to information that is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
Requirements & Responsibilities- Follow quality control procedures, identify mistakes in the assembly process, note faulty components and report issues.
- Maintain equipment, perform housekeeping duties and suggest procedural improvements.
- Use available tools to connect parts, fit components together and ensure proper alignment; complete work order documentation.
- Operate and monitor automated technologies used in the assembly process.
- Prior experience in a similar manufacturing position.
- Soldering experience.
- GED or high school diploma (preferred).
- Technical/vocational school experience (preferred).
- Proficiency with small hand tools.
- Basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, J-STD certification, IPC 610 & 620.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
- Familiarity with military specifications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Effective written and verbal English communication.
- Team player, willing to assist the production team.
- Flexibility to work extended hours if required.
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $20.00/hr plus 10 % shift differential, resulting in $22.00/hr (subject to change).
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith; TE reserves the right to adjust ranges based on candidate experience and equity considerations.
- Total compensation includes Base Salary + Incentives + Benefits.
