Materials Handler

Job Description

Materials Handler role at Mars Fishcare in Chalfont, PA.

This role is responsible for loading, unloading, moving and storing materials within the warehouse facility to ensure smooth operations. This includes inventory management, order fulfillment, operating equipment and documentation in our ERP system.

Monday‑Thursday 6:30 am‑5 pm (Flexible pending business needs).

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment
• Experience operating a Fork Lift
• Proficient in MS Office and email

• Frequent lifting/carrying (10‑50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50‑300 lbs)
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping
• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
• Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
• Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English

• Degree or certification in related area
• Fork Lift certification
• 2+ years’ experience in warehousing or manufacturing
• Comfortable with warehouse ERP systems

• Efficiently fill customer orders
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of all items listed on orders
• Train on and operate PIT's (Powered Industrial Truck) to safely move product throughout the Warehouse
• Develop strong business relationships with internal customers throughout facility
• Maintain Site associate safety and accountability to Mars Quality & Food Safety
• Ad hoc tasks

• Pay based on experience starting at $20.30/hour +
