Warehouse Worker​/Automated Line Technician - No Weekends

Don's Prepared Foods is the leading manufacturer on the East Coast of prepared gourmet deli salads, gourmet cream cheese spreads, dips, entrée's and more.

Don's is a family-owned business and manufactures over 130 products spanning across its three brands Don's Salads, Melanie's Medleys and Artisan Deli.

Our Warehouse department is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join the team at our Schwenksville, PA food manufacturing plant.

This is an hourly, non-exempt position that typically starts at 6AM from Monday-Friday (no weekends!) with flexible end times according to production needs. Candidates who are dedicated, consistent, and organized with a warehouse background in a manufacturing environment are strongly encouraged to apply. Forklift experience required.

This position works in a refrigerated warehouse for the full 8 hour shift, temperature is about 34-36 degrees.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate end of line machines, robotic palletizer, and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain the production flow with minimal instances of stopping the conveyor.
• Pack finished products into boxes.
• Stack products on pallets.
• Move product to inventory locations and rotate stock.
• Pick customer orders with attention to expiration dates/item numbers of products to be picked.
• Assist other areas of the Warehouse as needed.
• Adhere to food safety standards are sanitation guidelines. Must have excellent attention to detail.

Requirements:

Forklift experience required.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Must pass an extensive pre-employment criminal background and a pre-employment drug test.
