Quality Assurance Specialist

Direct Marketing Solutions is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. Wherever you may be in your career, DMS could be the place for you!

The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) works closely with the Laser printing, Mailing, and Bindery teams at Direct Marketing Solutions (DMS) to ensure client specifications are met. The QAS uses a basic understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all materials are shipped for production in accordance with established processes.

• Verifies that materials produced by a machine match the machine's job ticket.
• Ensures address blocks and barcodes meet postal regulations.
• Reviews the font size, quality of print, and populated text of Laser department output.
• Reviews the fold measurements and tray tags of Bindery department output.
• Reviews the sealing, postage, and package contents of Mailing department output.
• Notifies the operator and applicable supervisor immediately when any discrepancy is discovered.
• Learns all SOPs for the Quality, Mailing, Laser, and Bindery departments.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• One to two years' relevant experience
• Proficiency with common office equipment and Microsoft Office applications

• 1st Shift Monday through Friday 6:30am-2:30pm
• 2nd Shift Monday through Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm
• 3rd Shift Sunday through Thursday 10:30pm-6:30am
• Overtime required as necessary
