Job OpeningProduction Line Welder
SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our team at Strick Trailers, LLC. In this role, you will be instrumental in fabricating high-quality trailers that meet our customers' needs. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of providing durable and cost-effective solutions in the trailer manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities- Utilize hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble trailer components according to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques to create strong and durable joints.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools effectively.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and schematics.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be able to perform frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Must successfully complete prior required testing based on job skill applied for.
- Must successfully complete a physical evaluation, drug screen and background check prior to beginning work.
- Employees considered for advancement opportunities to increase pay as skills are developed.
- 4‑day work week, Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Please wear closed‑toed shoes and long pants.
- WALK‑IN between 7 AM and 2 PM Monday through Thursday to fill out an application and complete testing. Allow 2‑3 hours for the entire process.
- Attendance bonus of $2 per hour (subject to company policy).
- Minimum starting wage of $19.90/hr, increasing to $20.90 at 6 months and to $22.40 at 12 months.
- Profit sharing.
- 401(k) with employer match.
- Medical, Dental and Life Insurance beginning the first of the month after 60 days.
