Material Handler​/Forklift Operator

Material Handler / Forklift Operator – VEKA North America

VEKA Inc. is a proud member of the global VEKA Group and the world’s largest extruder of vinyl for the window and door industry. We have four U.S. locations with over 800 employees and are seeking a hardworking material handler to support inventory and operations.

• Safely operate a forklift and hold a valid Veka forklift license
• Band and seal full racks of material and transfer them to the barcode area
• Set up empty racks on rack dollies and set up scrap Gaylord boxes
• Assist and coordinate activities with other material handlers
• Remove and replace online scrap racks and transfer them to the scrap area in the warehouse
• Perform daily safety and mechanical inspection of the forklift
• Maintain proper housekeeping of the assigned work area

• High school diploma or equivalent or previous work experience
• Certified forklift license
• Dependable, punctual, and works well in a group
• Ability to work a 12‑hour night shift (7 pm‑7 am)

• Shift differential: $1.50 from 7 pm to 7 am
