Computer Numerical Control Machinist

Overview

We are seeking experienced full-time CNC Machinists skilled in multi‑axis, high‑precision machining. The ideal candidate will work on critical applications across various industries including defense, aerospace, medical, energy, and more.

Base pay range
: $28.00/hr - $32.00/hr

• Prioritize, plan, and prepare machining work by analyzing tasks and determining the sequence of operations
• Read blueprints and job orders to understand product specifications, materials, and deadlines
• Set up and operate manual and 5‑axis CNC lathes and CNC mills
• Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feed rates based on material and job requirements
• Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.)
• Ensure machines are properly maintained and prepared before starting jobs
• Machine components accurately to blueprint specifications
• Operate CNC equipment efficiently to meet productivity goals

• Strong blueprint reading skills and knowledge of GD&T
• Proficient with precision measurement tools
• Commitment to quality, accuracy, and productivity
• Willingness to cross‑train on different machines and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Safety‑conscious and focused on product excellence
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to work shifts, lift up to 40 lbs, and stand for 8–10 hours daily

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Journey worker certification or minimum of 4 years precision machining experience
• Experience operating CNC lathes and mills
