Summary/Objective

Responsible for the unloading and loading of Beam and Tube trucks, supplying production with Beam and Tube, makes all Beam and Tube movements in D365 using Mobile Device. Responsible for Beam and Tube yard housekeeping, performs other warehouse duties to support success of perpetual inventory, 5S and all safety policies by following established operating procedures. Participates in weekly bundle/ monthly cycle counts of Beam and Tube with Beam and Tube Leader along with Inventory team.

  • Complete inventory transactions to receive and issue inventory as required.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Complete equipment maintenance checklist.
  • Complete visual PPE self-check.
  • Unload beam and tube trucks making all necessary transactions according to established procedures.
  • Inspect freight upon arrival, document any signs of damage, and report freight claims to the beam and tube leader and receiving Leader in a timely manner.
  • Prepares beam and tube products for transfer shipment following established procedures for packaging, crating, bundling, wrapping, strapping, and labeling.
  • Moves structural material from appropriate inventory locations in specified quantities as necessary to fill production orders by following established procedures.
  • Visually monitor inventory levels and communicate low levels to beam and tube leader and manufacturing leaders as necessary.
  • Participate in weekly bundles and cycle counting inventory according to established guidelines and assist with developing actions to correct inventory problems.
  • Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move parts to proper locations and load or unload freight trucks as necessary. Reasonable accommodations considered for individuals with disabilities to enable them to perform the essential functions.

    Qualifications
  • High school degree or GED (not necessary).
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Lippert Forklift License Required (Offered once hired).
