7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

• Fabricate plastic rods, slabs, and sheets in accordance with Shop Orders.
• Perform all tasks safely and responsibly.
• Read and interpret Shop Orders.
• Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Operate precision tools, machinery, and equipment such as lathes, vertical milling machines, drill presses, chop saws, band saws, and planers.
• Select, align, secure, and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machine safely.
• Deploy and use inserts, fixtures, and tooling properly.
• Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Evaluate experimental procedures and recommend changes or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to setup and production.
• Track parts and jobs effectively.
• Use and abide by all safety procedures.
• Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.

• Operation of manual lathes, drill presses, and other standard job shop machines.
• Understanding of materials, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, and machining techniques.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Mechanical ability.
• Proper use of hand and power tools.
• Basic awareness of electricity and associated risks.
• Responsible for personal safety and the safety of those around.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a job shop atmosphere.
• Knowledge of safe operation of horizontal lathes of all sizes, portable resurfacing machines, and drill presses.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
