• Compensation: $19.00 hourly + $2.00 shift differential

  New Year's, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

• Inspect press‑ready plates.
• Clean plates and cylinders for eventual reuse.
• Check concentricity, bearings, and maintain the surface of printing cylinders in good condition.
• Perform make‑ready on plates when necessary to attain the required quality level.
• Proof close register work on the mounter/proofer.
• Maintain a cooperative attitude with coworkers and supervisors.
• Perform various pressroom support duties.
• Maintain inventory of all plate mounting tapes used.
• Maintain a log that documents all plate remounts.
• Retain bad plates and forward them to the supervisor for evaluation.

• Must be able to train on 1st shift.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills required.
• Good problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to use a micrometer and other simple measuring tools.
• Correct visual acuity.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in a combined office and manufacturing environment; safety equipment required.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive attitude, team player, and ability to work overtime as required.
