As a global leader, indie's photonics team specializes in developing advanced optical systems and components that drive progress across various industries—from material processing, quantum technologies, LiDAR, navigation, sensing, and imaging, to augmented reality and medical applications.
The HOPP Production Coordinator will play a key role in accelerating the ramp‑up of our HOPP activities. This position is designed to centralize and streamline all HOPP‑related production processes, which are currently distributed across various teams and leaders. The Coordinator will act as the central point of contact, supporting the grouping and alignment of all operational activities and will support to form the HOPP Production Group
.
In this role, you will also be responsible for coordinating daily workflows, supporting cleanroom and lab operations, and ensuring consistent communication and quality across teams. You will support to form a small, cross‑functional team currently reporting to different stakeholders, with the goal of fostering greater efficiency and clarity during this critical ramp‑up phase.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the ramp‑up of HOPP production activities across multiple teams
- Act as central liaison for all production‑related communication and planning
- Form and organize a small cross‑functional group (2–5 people) currently working under different supervisors
- Ensure alignment of production processes and standards, including cleanroom and lab protocols
- Monitor progress, resolve bottlenecks, and report status updates to project leads
- Work closely with quality assurance, logistics, and R&D to ensure operational readiness
- Maintain documentation and production tracking tools to support transparency, traceability and yield monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years in production coordination, operations, or manufacturing environment
- Experience in cleanroom or lab operations is a strong plus
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in MS Office and production tracking tools
- Hands‑on, proactive, and solution‑oriented
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, ramp‑up environment
- Team player with leadership potential
