- Operates various grinding equipment (i.e. OD grinders, grinding wheels, grinding/polishing belts, etc.)
- Utilizes additional hand and power tools
- Use of gages, calipers, and other checking and inspection tools.
- Completes various paperwork related to production reporting.
- Operates lift truck, crane or uses hand truck to move materials.
- Inspects equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel for repairs and performs preventive maintenance as required.
- High School education or equivalent
- One year of previous manufacturing experience
- Safety glasses and safety boots are required.
- Perform the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles by complying with all safety procedures and all company policies.
- Good communication skills written and verbal.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memo.
