Production Supervisor

The Phase 2 Production Supervisor will be responsible ensuring day and night‑shift workers are following standard safety protocols, ensuring filling, pulling and sanitation procedures are complete, and training of workers on proper tasks protocols, and inspection of equipment to report mechanical issues of equipment. Assist workers with job duties if necessary, due to staffing shortages.

• Responsible for helping oversee operations in a diverse, fast‑paced compost manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of manufacturing experience
• Ability to communicate with others in a positive manner through verbal and written means
• Be highly organized and detail oriented
• Possess strong leadership qualities
• Ensure equipment, supplies, and production area is in appropriate working condition
• Monitor, maintain, and operate machinery on production floor
• Assists with administrative tasks
• Identify and assist in resolving safety, quality, and productivity issues
• Ensure staff is properly equipped and trained to perform sanitation duties and functions
• Ensure staff follows safety and operational standards
• Perform operational and safety audits to ensure standards are being followed
• Report mechanical/electrical issues to management and maintenance staff
• Assist in staffing and scheduling of night shift sanitation workers
• Inventory and receipt of raw material deliveries
• Monitor computer systems to ensure fancom controllers are operating as expected

• Supervision and Leadership Experience
• Spanish and/or English Speaking (Written and spoken)
• Forklift, sky‑jack and pallet jack experience.
• Ability to operate standard transmission
