All company operations take place in a modern 218,300 sq. ft. multi-site facility situated on 20 acres east of Trafford, PA. The facility houses virtually all resources for product realization, including engineering, supply chain, parts fabrication, electro-mechanical assembly, and testing. Fabrication capabilities include laser and plasma cutting, CNC machining, CNC punching, and automated bending and forming. The company also utilizes specialized processes, such as MIG and TIG welding, friction welding, silver and tin electroplating, and silver brazing.

Your Goal Develop and maintain accurate CNC programs and set up documentation for a variety of fabrication equipment using CAM software and other methods to support production, quality, and delivery objectives. Continuously improve machining processes by optimizing toolpaths, reducing cycle times, and minimizing setup challenges while ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

Your Responsibilities Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for machining, bending, cut line equipment using SolidCAM and other programming software.

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and CAD models to develop efficient machining processes.

Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, fixtures, and machining strategies to maximize productivity and quality.

Generate and verify toolpaths to ensure machining accuracy, efficiency, and safety.

Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to resolve machining and manufacturing challenges.

Provide complete setup documentation, tooling requirements, and machining instructions for production personnel.

Troubleshoot and correct program issues with operator during program prove outs.

Optimize cycle times and machining processes while maintaining product quality and dimensional requirements.

Support new product introductions by developing machining processes and validating programs before production release.

Conduct program simulations and machine verification to prevent collisions and reduce setup risks.

Maintain program revisions, documentation, and engineering records in accordance with company standards.

Recommend process improvements related to tooling, fixturing, programming methods, and machining techniques.

Work closely with machine operators and setup technicians to improve manufacturability and production efficiency.

Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental objectives and business needs.

Your Background Minimum of 2+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency with CAM software such as SolidCAM, Mastercam, Fusion 360, ESPRIT, GibbsCAM, or similar platforms.
