Location: Honey Brook
A leading industrial equipment company is hiring a Weller/Fitter to join their team in Honey Brook, PA. This full-time role involves fabrication and welding of various alloys and contributing to safety, quality, and efficiency. The position requires on-site work.
- Prepare materials for welding and fitting according to blueprints and work instructions.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools.
- Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical documentation accurately.
- Create fixtures and perform basic non-destructive testing procedures as needed.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical welding and fabrication experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
- Knowledge of welding techniques including SAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW.
- Ability to pass a physical assessment and lift at least 50 lbs.
- Formal training in welding technology or equivalent experience.
