Welder​/Fitter

A leading industrial equipment company is hiring a Welder/Fitter to join their on-site team in Honey Brook, PA. This full-time role involves preparing alloys for fabrication, welding, and fitting while ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. The position requires at least 5 years of welding experience with multiple processes, knowledge of blueprints, and physical capability to perform demanding tasks.

• Set up and operate welding and cutting equipment according to specifications and work instructions.
• Prepare materials by measuring, laying out, and fitting components based on blueprints.
• Perform welding on pressure vessels and other assemblies using various welding techniques.
• Conduct basic inspection and quality control procedures, including visual and non-destructive tests.
• Create and set fixtures to hold parts during welding or cutting processes.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in welding and fitting, with familiarity in ASME code pressure vessel welding.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions.
• Skilled in operating grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and overhead cranes safely.
• Knowledge of welding methods such as SAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW.
• Able to pass a physical assessment, lift at least 50 lbs, and perform tasks in an industrial environment.
