Shift: 1st Shift / Day Shift Job Overview We are hiring dependable and hardworking Fresh Cut Production Associates to join a food production team in Warrendale, PA. This role involves processing, cutting, packaging, labeling, and preparing fresh vegetables and other food products for shipment and delivery.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a cold and wet production environment, enjoys hands-on work, and is committed to maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and productivity.

Schedule & Work Environment Monday–Friday, starting at 8:00 AM.Work typically concludes between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, depending on production requirements.

Occasional extended shifts may be required, with rare instances lasting until 8:00 PM.Cold and wet production environment maintained between 34°F and 40°F year-round.

Frequent exposure to refrigerated conditions, water, and moisture.

Fast-paced production environment with daily production goals.

Steel-toe, composite-toe, or safety slip-resistant and water-resistant boots are required.

Key Responsibilities Process fresh-cut vegetables and other food products according to customer orders and production schedules.

Cut, portion, package, and label products accurately for next-day delivery.

Prepare and stage finished products for shipment.

Maintain product quality, freshness, and packaging standards.

Follow work instructions, product specifications, and production requirements.

Safely operate electric pallet jacks after completing required training.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Assist with inventory handling and product movement as needed.

Perform additional duties and assignments as directed by management.

Qualifications

Required:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Basic math and arithmetic skills.

Ability to work comfortably in a refrigerated environment throughout the shift.

Ability to safely work around cutting instruments and production equipment.

Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Willingness to follow safety procedures and production instructions.

Preferred:

At least 1 year of warehouse, production, or food processing experience.

Previous experience handling produce or working in a food production facility.

Experience operating electric pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.

Physical Requirements Frequently lift and carry up to 80 pounds.

Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

Bend, squat, reach, push, pull, and twist as required.

Perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and arms.

Work safely in a physically demanding production environment.
