Director of Marketing, Athletics

Villanova University is hiring a Director of Marketing, Athletics. This role involves managing all aspects of Athletics marketing, including strategic branding, social media and digital strategies, fan engagement, promotions, event management, and collaboration with various university departments and partners to enhance attendance and revenue generation.

• Develop and implement strategic branding and marketing campaigns for the Athletics Department.
• Manage social media platforms and digital marketing for select Olympic Sports.
• Direct game-day marketing efforts and oversee fan engagement initiatives for Women's Basketball and Football.
• Coordinate Athletics special events and collaborate with Ticket Office Operations, Student Life, and student fan groups.
• Work closely with partners such as Playfly, Villanova Athletic Fund (VAF), Legends, and Alumni Relations.
• Bachelor's degree required;
  Master's degree in sports management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' marketing experience with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules, sports marketing, branding, website and social media development, and proficiency with Photoshop.
• Proficiency in personal computing and understanding of social media, internet, and e-business solutions.
• Position classified as exempt with salary range $73,100-$91,400 based on qualifications and budget.
