Kids Administrative Coordinator

North Way Christian Community is seeking a part-time Kids Administrative Coordinator (up to 15 hours/week) for our Wexford Campus. This position is responsible for assisting the Wexford Kids Director and Kids Ministry team to build, develop, and support a thriving volunteer culture. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and retaining volunteers while creating strategies to engage and care for the volunteer team.

Responsibilities include volunteer communication, coordinating onboarding processes (including safety requirements, shadowing, and role-specific training), and planning and leading three annual volunteer training events to equip volunteers for effective ministry. This individual will help ensure every volunteer is prepared, supported, and empowered to create a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment for children and families.

Fundamental qualifications for all applicants include a growing relationship with God, a desire to impact the world with the love and message of Jesus Christ, a discerned calling into this position, and the willingness to regularly attend and participate in North Way worship services and ministry activities. The additional qualifications for this position include:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in Kids Ministry preferred
• Detail-oriented and thorough
• Ability to use a computer and mobile phone/applications
• Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
• Background clearances must be current
