Overview

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health PA Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our main campus is located in Berwyn, PA. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) – part-time roles available on 1st and 2nd shifts. You will work with a dedicated team to support health care services for community, campus, and vocational program clients under the supervision of the Health Services Coordinator.

• Educate clients, families, and others on health, wellbeing and disease prevention.
• Attend residents’ meetings as needed and provide health updates to the team and family as appropriate.
• Communicate with physicians regarding client needs, nursing assessments, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with treatment team members to ensure client well-being.
• Perform assessments/evaluations for potential clients and create nursing care plans as needed.
• Work as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement individual nursing care plans.
• Provide basic patient care or treatments (e.g., wound care, bedsores treatment, massage, catheterizations).
• Measure and record vital signs, administer medications, and maintain information in electronic health systems.
• Provide training to staff and complete audits as required by regulations.
• Implement diet changes when applicable and ensure regulatory health, medical, and immunization requirements are met.
• All other duties as assigned per Devereux standards of care by the Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager.

• Current, valid LPN or RN license
• Eligible to practice in PA
• Healthcare facility nursing experience
• Experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and/or TBI preferred
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license

• Competitive salary: LPN $32.00-$36.48/hr; RN $40.00-$45.60/hr
