Director of Nursing Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team at the Rosemont Care & Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services. Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, organization, and implementation of nursing services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and our organization's mission and values
  • Manage and lead a team of nurses, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and performance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and outstanding patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other departments, including medicine, therapy, and social services, to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery
  • Conduct and participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective allocation of staff
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, providing guidance and support to nursing staff

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field;
    Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role; experience in a rehabilitation setting is a plus
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
