Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA PRN

The Gardens at Orangeville is seeking CNA's to join our skilled nursing facility in Orangeville, PA
.

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for coordinating the delivery of care, monitoring and evaluating the outcome of practice and standards of care, and providing direct nursing care in a self-directed manner.

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

• PRN Only

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with therapeutic, neurological and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs, as applicable
• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of residents are maintained
• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and as an active member of the interdisciplinary team
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming in accordance with the established Care Plan
• Ensures residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan
• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner
• Performs additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
• Must have successfully completed a state-approved training program and required examination
• Must provide documentation of certification upon application
