Licensed Practical Nurse/RN

We invite prospective applicants to apply for the position of Licensed Practical Nurse/RN at the Joseph P. Liberati Intermediate School. Provide direct healthcare services to students, including administering first aid, assessing illnesses and injuries, and developing care plans. Manage chronic health conditions for students in collaboration with parents and healthcare providers. Coordinate health screenings and immunizations according to district and state health guidelines.

Collaborate with school administration, teachers, and parents to support student health and well-being, and address the impact of health concerns on learning. Assist with the design and implementation of preparedness plans at the school and district levels. Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality of student information.

A valid (active) NURSING LICENSE is required; proof of CPR and FIRST AID LICENSURE is also required.

Note:

Selected candidates must be able to produce valid PA State Criminal Record Check (ACT 34), FBI Criminal History Record Investigation (ACT 114), PA DHS Child Abuse History Clearance (ACT 151), and PA Arrest/Conviction Report Certification Form (ACT 24) all within one year of issue at the time of hire.

Compensation (37.5hrs/wk) + Benefits (employer-sponsored healthcare, PSERS retirement, etc.)
