Sage Group Health Care  Staffing is seeking Psychiatric Registered Nurses for travel /contract positions in Centre Hall, PA. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Length: 13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates

Pay Rate:

Range $2230 to $26000 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Psychiatric (Adolescent Unit)

Shift:
12 hours;
Nights 7p-7.30a or Evenings, 3p-11.30p

Schedule: 36
hours or 40 hours/ week guaranteed, 3 or 5 shifts per week + every other weekend and holiday rotation

• Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
• Recent/Current Acute Psychiatric Nursing experience: 1 year – Required
• Provide care for Adult and Adolescent Patients - Required

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
• RN License for State of PA - Required
• CPI or HWC Certification - Required
• BLS Certification from AHA
  - Required

• Provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned psych units.
• Provide care for inpatient adult and adolescent units and float to other units if required
• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning and establishing outcomes, implementation, and evaluation.
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
• Prepares, administers, and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
• Records information concisely,accurately and completely.
• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
