American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele Float RN with at least 2 years of experience and Epic charting experience for a night shift float pool role.

• MS/Tele float position supporting cardiac telemetry, MS/Tele, and ER holding units
• Team nursing patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:8
• Night shift, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• No on-call requirements
• No block scheduling available

• Active RN license (PA or Compact) required
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) preferred
• Experience with pacemakers, post-MI care, and pre/post cardiac cath or surgery preferred
• IV therapy skills including starting and maintaining IVs, central line and PICC line care

• Provide direct patient care across multiple med/surg and telemetry units as a float nurse
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO requests of 5 days or less are preferred
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Former Guthrie Healthcare System employees must be separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Approximately 4 hours of non-billable orientation modules required prior to start
