Crawford Care Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing and lead compassionate, high-quality care in our skilled nursing facility. The ADON helps guide nursing staff, support residents and families, and promote safe, consistent care that meets applicable standards.

Support the Director of Nursing with the daily operations of the nursing department.
Help supervise, coach, and support nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants.
Promote resident-centered care, dignity, safety, and effective communication.
Assist with staffing, scheduling, orientation, training, and performance coaching.
Monitor clinical documentation, care plans, and follow-up on changes in residents’ conditions.
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement efforts.
Help prepare for surveys and support compliance with facility policies and applicable state and federal requirements.
Respond to resident and family concerns and coordinate with physicians and other care team members.
Provide nursing leadership and clinical support as needed, including occasional coverage outside normal hours.
Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania, in good standing.
Nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
Prior nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of long-term care regulations, clinical documentation, and quality improvement practices.
Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to lead with professionalism, compassion, and sound clinical judgment.
