This opportunity is full-time, offers full benefits, and a convenient days(6:30am-7:00pm) schedule and rotates every other weekend and holiday.

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 35 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112‑bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17.

• The Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.
• The Licensed Practical Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.
• Monitors and documents patient condition and interventions provided reporting finding to the unit Charge Nurse/RN
• Monitors Nursing and Clinical Care plans and participates in Treatment Team meetings as necessary
• Provides supportive counseling and patient education
• The Licensed Practical Nurse facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices , including patient education
• The Licensed Practical Nurse responds to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety
