Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • Have the ability to use chemicals for treatment of above mentioned areas for insects, fertilization and irrigations.
• Water indoor plants as described in daily duties sheet.
• Water outdoor plants and shrubs per daily duties sheet that are not taken care of by outdoor irrigation system.
• Keep irrigation system on in schedule panels unless one inch or more of rain is received in a day’s time. Leave off no more than two days.
• Keep flowerbeds weed free and mulch as needed per season. Plant annual flowers in the spring of each year.
• Trim all plants and shrubs as needed per season.
• Use all chemicals and fertilizers as described on the chemical listing sheet.
• Have the ability and knowledge to spray chemicals with power sprayer.
• Have the ability and knowledge to recognize plant diseases for treatment.
• Remove snow from sidewalks, parking lots, stairs, ramp ways, exits, barge facilities, restaurant facilities.
• Have the ability and knowledge to operate all machinery necessary to perform job duties.
• Perform general power washing duties around property.
• Keep outside property clean and free of all trash
• Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
• Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); BA degree or equivalent related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE

SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

MATHEMATICAL

SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.

REASONING ABILITY:

Should be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Team member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
