Cemetery Groundskeeper

Cemetery Groundskeeper – Full‑time

• Perform all landscape maintenance duties such as weed‑whacking, lawn mowing, and general upkeep.
• Maintain and service equipment.
• Execute operating tasks related to funeral services.
• Operate machinery safely.
• Assist in installing cemetery vaults, headstones, and memorials.
• Handle day‑to‑day general maintenance duties.
• Remove snow when applicable.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Grounds Superintendent.

• High School equivalency required.
• At least 2 years of maintenance or related field experience.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Skill in reading and following supervisory directives.
• Strong organisational skills with capacity to multitask amid interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Availability to work holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
