Located in Plymouth Meeting, PA, Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital is a multi‑service animal hospital offering general practice, specialty services, 24/7 emergency care, boarding, grooming, daycare, and rehabilitation. As a Specialty Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Ophthalmology, Oncology, Dermatology, and Radiology teams. Each day brings something new as you rotate between specialties, offering variety and the opportunity to continuously grow your skills.

• Assist with doctor message centers, appointment coordination, estimates, records, and referrals
• Support specialty appointments and procedures, collaborating closely with DVMs
• Work alongside the anesthesia team with sedations (minimal full anesthesia required)
• Provide clear, compassionate client communication and education
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with patient discharges
• Rotate between specialties, giving you exposure to a variety of cases and learning opportunities

Full‑time position:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Starting at $20–$25/hr, depending on experience and credentials.

• Experience as a Veterinary Technician (specialty experience preferred, credentialed or non‑credentialed)
