Full time employment plus potential overtime. Employees are paid at an hourly rate plus time and one‑half for overtime hours worked.

Work weeks can vary from 5‑8 hour days to 4‑10 hour days for the employee’s regular schedule.

General Laborer

Mars, PA

Vogel Disposal Service, Inc. is seeking a reliable laborer to complete a variety of physical labor jobs.

Essential Responsibilities

Work both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
Perform facility maintenance including grass cutting, weed eating, pulling weeds, spraying weeds, etc. in the summer.
Perform facility maintenance including snow plowing, distributing ice melt, snow shoveling, etc. in the winter.
Other duties such as truck and vehicle pressure washing, picking up litter, moving and lifting various items, painting, sweeping floors, and various other jobs.

Minimum Requirements

Must be a dependable, self‑motivated individual.
A valid driver's license is required.
Employees must provide their own safety‑approved work boots.

Physical Requirements

This job is performed both indoors and outdoors. Employees are subject to weather elements daily; i.e. heat, sun, rain, snow, wind, etc.
Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch/squat required.
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. required.
