Spring House Animal Hospital is currently seeking Veterinary Technician to join their team!

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Veterinary Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with our veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to provide excellent care to patients and clients alike. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine love for animals.

We are hoping to find a candidate who can work both independently and as a team player depending on what the day needs.

Responsibilities:

* Assist veterinarians during exams, procedures, and surgeries

* Perform blood draws, IV catheter placement, and sample collection

* Administer medications and treatments as directed and have a base knowledge of drugs and administration

* Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical prep and recovery

* Take and process digital radiographs

* Maintain accurate medical records

* Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and coworkers

* Provide care and comfort to hospitalized and post-operative patients

* Help maintain a clean and organized treatment and exam area

Qualifications:

* At least 3 years experience in a veterinary hospital (licensed or unlicensed technicians welcome to apply)

* Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability

* Compassionate, team-oriented, and proactive

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

* Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods

* Excellent communication and organizational skills

Pay Range

$19-$23 USD
