Location: West Point
The Supplier Development & Performance Management (SD&PM) Change Portal Team centrally receives and tracks all supplier change notifications for external direct material suppliers to support global External Supplier Change Control.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- For each change notification, perform an impact assessment to identify the change level, impacted manufacturing sites and impacted products.
- Create a change record in the global electronic business system for logging, tracking and communicating change notifications associated with suppliers.
- Additional project work may include verification of supply chain data.
- Education Minimum:
Bachelors preferably in Scientific, Engineering, or related field. - Minimum Experience and Skills
- Minimum 5 years experience in Technical, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing Operations, or related Business Operations working with products or processes is required.
- Demonstrated Quality, Technical and / or Manufacturing experience in the areas of pharmaceutical, medical device, and / or vaccine manufacturing or packaging.
- Ability to work within a matrix organization and leverage expertise from other functions and departments.
- Proven self-starter.
- Ability to develop and / or improve supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of Supplier Quality Management Systems.
- Knowledge of cGMPs, technical writing, data management collection and analysis.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, inclusion, and communication skills.
- Appreciates and respects diversity, cultures, and norms.
- Facilitates business negotiations in a professional manner.
- Ability to Prioritize, Align and Simplify.
- Works independently with all levels of the organization, and has demonstrated the following skills:
Rapid / Disciplined decisions, Acts with courage and candor, Drives results, Escalation of issues / concerns to management, as appropriate.
- Preferred Experience and Skills
- Experience with external supplier change control.
- Proficiency with MS Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to work with Suppliers.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Six Sigma Greenbelt desired.
