Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally.

Our team in Valley Green, PA is looking for a Quality Specialist.

Position Summary

The Quality Specialist supports the implementation and maintenance of quality systems to ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal procedures. This entry-level role focuses on inspection, documentation, and assisting in root cause analysis for electronic components and assemblies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electronic components, cable assemblies, and PCBs using magnification tools and measurement equipment.
  • Verify compliance with work instructions, drawings, and specifications
    .
  • Document inspection results in ERP or quality management systems.
  • Assist in nonconformance reporting (NCR) and containment activities.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects (e.g., soldering, gasket placement, wire routing).
  • Conduct basic electrical tests (continuity, hipot, LLCR) under supervision.
  • Maintain calibration records for measurement tools.
  • Participate in layered process audits and report findings.
  • Ensure adherence to ESD, cleanliness, and safety standards in the work area.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or associate degree in electronics or related field.
  • Basic understanding of IPC/WHMA-A-620 or similar standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
    .
  • Familiarity with measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gauges).
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing or cable assembly
    .
  • Knowledge of quality tools (PFMEA, control plans, fishbone diagrams).
  • Exposure to ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality systems.
