Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and promptly with eye contact and enthusiasm while providing quick and efficient service.
  • Handle guests' money transactions quickly and efficiently in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals.
  • Responsible for adhering to established cash control policies and procedures within Food & Beverage department at Hollywood Casino.
  • Knowledge of and strict adherence to PLCB and RG standards.
  • Accurate and efficient use of POS system.
  • Knowledge of all daily specials and menu items and their preparation.
  • Handle any guest complaints and resolve them quickly and courteously.
  • Answer guest questions and direct concerns to appropriate member of management.
Requirements
  • We will provide any necessary training for this position.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations in a positive, courteous manner.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Must have the ability to clearly visualize and comprehend the use of a POS system.
  • Must be able to obtain RAMP certification.
