Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • This position will provide friendly, courteous beverage service and beverage preparation in accordance with standard procedures.
• Prepare beverages in accordance with established procedures.
• Follow proper cash control procedures.
• Practice proper par stock ordering procedures.
• Maintain current knowledge of all policies and procedures concerning service of all alcoholic beverages.
• Responsible for set‑up and cleaning of bar area.
• Monitor and assist in training Barbacks.
• Maintain knowledge of current hotel activities, beverage outlets and operations.
• Comply with all health and safety standards.
• Attend meetings as scheduled.
• Other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Must have knowledge of relevant of bartending procedures (drink recipes, etc.);
• Great good people skills required including effective communication;
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff; ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
• Ability to perform basic math; ability to handle money and make correct change; ability to understand and comply with all departmental and Company rules, regulations, Policies and procedures; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and management.
