Seeking entry level or experienced cooks to work in a fast paced kitchen that serves members of the Veterans of Foeign Wars Post in Spring Grove, PA. Qualified candidates will be required to work as a member of a team on the prep line on busy nights as well as on their own during slower shifts.
Responsibilities- Prepare food to order based on standard menu and weekly/daily specials.
- Prep foods based on daily prep lists provided by kitchen manager.
- Work and keep busy without direct supervision.
- Keep a clean and well stocked kitchen.
- Cooking and prepping fried, grilled and broiled foods.
- Knowledge of food safety.
- Experience using a pizza oven to make hand stretched pizza and stombolis is a plus.
