Responsibilities:
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with precision and consistency.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic workspace.
- Assemble pizzas according to menu specifications while adhering to recipe guidelines.
- Manage high-volume production during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or ingredient combinations.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Must have experience with making pizza in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures within a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under pressure.
- Experience in food industry roles such as restaurant service, catering, or fine dining is highly desirable.
- Excellent food handling skills with an emphasis on recipe adherence and quality control.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment with high-volume production demands.
