The Retail Associate supports store management in achieving operational goals by working in a variety of retail capacities. Typical roles include Cashier, Textiles/Wares Producer, Donation Door Attendant, eCommerce Producer, e‑Books Producer, and Rack or Cart Runner.

• Ring up customer orders, maintain a balanced drawer, and follow all cash handling procedures.
• Educate customers on Goodwill programs, answer questions, and direct higher‑level inquiries to the appropriate associate or manager.
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized, purge and size merchandise, and manage back‑room organization.
• Sort and tag textiles or wares, ensuring quality and value, and produce 85 items per hour for textiles or 100 items per hour for wares.
• Accept donations, maintain a clean donation door, and sort products for appropriate areas.
• Load and unload trucks and use heavy equipment such as pallet jacks, double stackers, and hydraulic lifts.
• Develop item value for Click Goodwill, tag items, and ship totes with accurate market value, packing products into pallets and wraps.
• Scan books, decide on shipping or in‑store display, print inventory sheets, and pack and ship Click Goodwill totes.
• Check each rack or cart for quality and value, size, merchandise, purge the floor, and stock shelves.
• Update daily production tracking sheets for all manufacturing activities.

• Hard to Very Hard Physical Work – Ability to spend >8 hours sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching; lift 10–50 pounds.
