Job Summary

The Retail Associate assists the store management team in achieving operational goals by performing various retail functions such as cashier, textile producer, donation door attendant, eCommerce producer, e‑book producer, and rack or cart runner.

Key Responsibilities

• Cashier:
  Ring up orders, maintain a balanced drawer, follow cash handling procedures, provide information on Goodwill programs, direct higher‑level queries.
• Textiles/Wares Producer:
  Sort and assess items for quality, tag and hang products, produce items per hour targets (100 wares/85 textiles), update production tracking.
• Donation Door Attendant:
  Accept donations, maintain the donation area, sort and distribute products, keep premises orderly, load/unload trucks using heavy equipment.
• eCommerce Producer:
  Source value items, research market values, tag, itemize, pack, and ship to Click Goodwill; educate the team on high‑ticket items.
• e‑Books Producer:
  Scan books, decide placement for Click Goodwill or in‑store display, print inventory, pack and ship totes, manage display layout.
• Rack and Cart Runner:
  Inspect racks/carts, merchandise and purge floor, maintain clean floor, run racks within time targets.

Other Requirements
