Retail Associate (Part-Time) – Markland Ave., Kokomo, IN

Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana is hiring a part‑time Retail Associate at $11 per hour. The role supports the store management team by performing a variety of retail duties, including cashier, textiles or wares production, donation door attendance, e‑commerce production, e‑books production, and rack or cart running.

• Cashier: ring up customer orders, maintain a balanced drawer, follow all cash handling procedures, provide information about Goodwill programs, direct higher‑level questions, and keep the sales floor clean.
• Textiles or Wares Producer: sort products for quality, prepare items for sale, produce 100 wares or 85 textiles per hour, use a pallet jack and conveyor belt, and update daily production tracking.
• Donation Door Attendant: accept donations, keep the donation area clean, quickly sort and distribute products, maintain a well-organized back room, and load/unload trucks using heavy equipment such as a pallet jack, double stacker, floor scrubber, and hydraulic lift.
• eCommerce Producer: identify valuable items for Click Goodwill, research market prices on eBay and similar sites, tag and ship totes, and educate the team on high‑ticket e‑commerce items.
• e‑Books Producer: scan received books, decide on shipping or display, print inventory sheets, pack and ship totes for Click Goodwill, and manage the in‑store sales display for top sellers.
• Rack & Cart Runner: inspect racks/carts for quality, merchandise and purge the sales floor, stock shelves, place away carts, and run one textile rack or wares cart every 15 minutes.

• No degree required; candidates must demonstrate capability and the ability to apply prior experience.
