Part Time Retail Sales Associate/Consultant Assistant. Do you have a flair for design? A passion for people? This is an hourly inside sales assistant position where you will assist our sales team by helping to sell flooring to retail customers alongside our sales team. The position requires interacting with customers and assisting them with product choices according to their individual needs, with the objective always to provide flooring advice that will make the customers' buying decision easier.

This position offers potential growth into full time. This position requires some Saturday hours from 9A-3P.

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Sell flooring and floor care products
• Greet customers on the sales floor and determine their wants and needs
• Assist customers with flooring choices (explain features/benefits, etc.) and design advice
• Work effectively with other store employees
• Use computer database to research availability of merchandise and process orders
• Maintain showroom by keeping samples and displays neat, current, and clean

• Willing to undergo our product, technology, and sales training in order to become certified flooring and design expert
• Personally well‑organized
• Able to provide outstanding customer service
• Able to communicate effectively
• Passion for or experience with decorating or design
• Must have access to reliable transportation to get to work and to visit customers’ homes (as necessary)
• Open and flexible work availability, including Saturdays
• Strong knowledge and comfort using various forms of technology including PC, tablet, and cell phone with willingness to learn our operating systems
• Retail sales experience strongly preferred
