Job DescriptionStart your career in management and join the retail management team! As a Team Leader at Goodwill, you will assist management with the daily operations of a retail store/outlet. The Team Leader will direct staff to ensure the store operates efficiently. This position involves mentoring new employees, teaching them skills to succeed in retail. If you have strong leadership skills and want to apply them, the Team Leader position is ideal for you!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the management team with daily store/outlet operations.
- Provide leadership and direction to staff, program participants, donors, and customers, ensuring production and quality goals are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
External Hiring Range: $13.80 to $14.62/hour.
Schedule: Varies; must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Travel: Local travel may be required.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent AND at least 1 year of supervising or leading groups experience.
- Internal Candidates: High school diploma or equivalent AND 6 months of experience working at Goodwill.
- Experience in retail, including fast food, resale, or manufacturing/production, is preferred.
Required Clearances, Licenses, and Certifications:
- Current, valid Child Abuse Clearance is expected.
