In-house Producer

Blue Rock Insurance Services is a full-service insurance agency offering products and services to both businesses and individuals. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as a Property & Casualty (P&C) Producer. This position will help drive the growth of our agency, serving the states of New York and New Jersey. The position’s primary duty is the independent work of selling property & casualty insurance.

• Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources
• makes sales presentations and closes sales
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources
• Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty
• Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases
• Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals
• Provide customers with additional information about new products and services
• Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified time-frame

• NYS/NJ Licensed Property and Casualty (P&C)
• 1-3 years brokerage, consulting, insurance, or corporate environment CPCU is preferred
• Strong Customer Service and Relationship-building skills
• Problem-solving and Decision-making skills
• High level of professionalism in dealing with customers and co-workers
• Communication and writing skills
• Bilingual (Preferably Mandarin as we are located in the Asian community)
