Job SummaryA critical member of the Commercial Marketing team and reporting to Director of Marketing, the Commercial Development Manager will help drive revenue growth by supporting both field and virtual sales activities. This role involves providing sales training and support to teams, engaging with customers, and contributing to the development and execution of marketing plans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training sales teams in both in‑person and virtual environments, executing field marketing initiatives, and fostering strong customer relationships to boost sales effectiveness, brand awareness, and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities Training & Support- Lead sales training sessions for sales representatives and teams, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to successfully promote the company’s workflows, products and services.
- Develop training materials and programs that can be used across multiple channels and regions.
- Work closely with the commercial marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging, sales methodology and alignment with company goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of training programs and provide ongoing support to sales teams to help meet performance targets.
- Use sales representative and customer feedback to refine sales strategies, training programs, and marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure smooth execution of customer engagements and maximize client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with field sales leadership, representatives and customers by conducting on‑site visits and presentations (as appropriate).
- Plan and execute field marketing campaigns in collaboration with marketing teams, including product demonstrations, trade shows, and events.
- Identify and pursue new business and training opportunities to accelerate marketing plans and strategic priorities.
- Serve as the main point of contact for sales representative and customer escalations, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing product or service information.
- Engage with the sales organization and customers regularly through surveys, focus groups, and one‑on‑one conversations to gather feedback and insights.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty while increasing customer engagement.
- Analyze local market trends and customer preferences to tailor training and influence marketing strategies.
