As Area Sales Manager
, you will play a vital role in the company’s continued growth. You will be part of a small, US‑based sales team while collaborating closely with the broader global organization of approximately 100 employees.
Working alongside marketing, sales, and delivery teams, your responsibilities will include:
- Building and developing new business relationships with key decision‑makers
- Positioning the company as a leading supplier of food processing equipment
- Expanding the customer base across North America, with a strong focus on new business development
- Achieving or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Increasing efficiency in identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical solution sales and customer service, preferably within food processing equipment
- Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and key accounts
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and time zones
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience using CRM systems to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines
- Based in Indiana, Chicago, or Atlanta, with a valid US work permit
- Fluency in English;
Spanish is an advantage
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience selling technical solutions for cooking, frying, or freezing equipment within the food processing industry, ideally in meat and poultry
- Strong CRM utilization for driving customer engagement and business growth
- Familiarity with the Challenger Sales Model and confidence in challenging customer assumptions
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business or a related field
- Willingness to travel both regionally and internationally as needed
Personal qualities are highly valued and will be a key factor in the selection process.
Logistics & Practical Information- Work Setup: Remote‑based role with access to office space if preferred
- Travel: Approximately 2–4 business trips per month
- Compensation: Competitive package including base salary of $100K–$130K plus commission of $20K–$40K
- Vacation: 30 paid days per year
- Career Development: Opportunity to grow into a Sales Director for the Americas as the company expands
