At Comcast, a Fortune 50 leader in media and technology, we drive innovation to create the world's best entertainment and online experiences. We are seeking a sales professional to join our Commercial Internet, Video, and Voice services team to engage mid‑size and large businesses.
Job SummaryResponsible for selling Comcast Commercial Internet, Video, and Voice based services to mid‑size and large businesses. Works as part of a team to drive sales using prospecting activities and cultivating relationships with institutions in designated territories.
Core Responsibilities- Creates and delivers face‑to‑face sales presentations that demonstrate knowledge of the latest Comcast products and services, achieving departmental financial and unit targets.
- Develops sales territory, including cultivation of local partnerships and organizational affiliations, and actively generates new leads through cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals and partner relationships.
- Retains customer base by delivering on the Comcast Credo, ensuring a superior customer experience and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive retention.
- Maintains accurate sales records, prepares sales and activity reports, and attends out‑of‑office meetings with customers.
- Demonstrates knowledge of Network Design, MAN technologies, VoIP, and related networking concepts.
- Exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance and maintains regular, punctual attendance, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Understand and apply Comcast’s Operating Principles.
- Own the customer experience and act with integrity.
- Continuously learn and advocate Comcast’s technology.
- Collaborate across teams and embrace new ideas.
- Participate in the Net Promoter System and improve customer satisfaction.
- Drive results, growth, and inclusion.
• 5–7 years of experience selling technology solutions to businesses
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and customer‑service skills
• Knowledge of networking technologies and VoIP preferred
