Rotational Inside Sales Engineer

Equipment & Controls, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner and global leader of process systems and solutions, is offering full-time positions in our rotational inside sales engineering development program. Based in our Lawrence, PA location, you will work with multi-faceted teams across the tri-state area while building an understanding of our business, ERP system, and complete product offering.

Over this 12-month training program, you will rotate through several business units, gaining product knowledge and experience supporting customers throughout the quoting and fulfillment process. At the end of the rotation, you will be placed in a business unit based on company need and your preference.

• Work with multi-faceted teams while continuously learning and gaining product knowledge
• Utilize customer input and specification to select applicable products and develop solutions that meet customer needs
• Develop, deliver, and follow up on accurate customer quotes in a timely manner
• Support positive customer outcomes throughout the quoting and fulfillment process
• Support the account management team in meeting customer expectations
• Build and leverage relationships across Inside Sales, Account Management, and other business units

• B.S. degree in engineering preferred, or equivalent industry experience
• Ability to develop and deliver solutions based on an understanding of the technical and business challenges of our market
• Demonstrated negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing customer needs
• Team player who can work closely with Inside Sales teams, Account Managers, and employees from other business units
